The Building Blocks of a Spiritual Life
Wouldn’t it be nice if we had a set of building blocks we could assemble to meet any situation in a spiritual way? Wouldn’t it be nice if we could respond instead of react? Wouldn’t it be nice if we could greet each day and welcome every evening with a sense of satisfaction and serenity? Wouldn’t it be nice if we had a set of concepts we could use to craft every day in a spiritual way?
This month at the Center for Spiritual Living is all about that!
In October, we will take a look at eight building blocks we can use to create a vivid, prosperous, healthy life. We’ll start with our vision and intention, for how can we build anything without a plan? Next we’ll consider the most powerful engine of spirituality known to humankind—prayer. Prayer allows us to shape the world around us simply by opening ourselves up to the very thing we desire. Love and acceptance guide every choice and decision we make. And understanding faith and power—spiritual power— ties it all together.
Finally, we thought it could be wonderful to bring the entire congregation together in a ceremony that will bring a deeper meaning to the idea of All Saint’s Day, for aren’t we all saints?
Our New Location
We are thrilled to announce that beginning Sunday, November 5 our services will be held on the first floor of the building at 789 Sherman. This office building has a wonderful meeting center run by the Colorado Non-Profit Association on the ground floor and we will be using it! To reach our new space just come into the building and take the first right. Welcome!
Parking at the New Location
Parking for services will be free. The lot is directly across Sherman St from our new digs at 789 Sherman St. The parking entrance is off Eighth Ave, NOT off Sherman!
