Our Licensed Practitioner's are always available after Sunday services for a short treatment session, or leave your prayer request at our Ministry of Prayer table on the landing outside the sanctuary.

Or if you desire a longer session in private surroundings they are available for a fee based session by appointment, feel free to call and arrange a time / place for their services.

Why I came and Why I Stayed

I first came to The Denver Church of Religious Science as a skeptical but dutiful spouse. You see, I’m one of those who was perfectly happy at Mile Hi, and saw no reason for a change. I was, at the time, married to a man who had great difficulty negotiating his movement in large crowds due to multiple sclerosis, so we both thought a smaller church would work better for him.

Our first Sunday at DCRS, Mike and I were welcomed by Reverend Jim and a host of friendly people who invited us to browse the yard sale. In the years that followed, I developed lasting friendships with the yard sale crew and others from workshops, classes, the beer booth and fellowship after services. This became my “village.” When my marriage ended, this was the place I came in order to make sense of my single life and remain positive.

But enough about why I came…here’s why I stayed:

• Miracles have happened in my life. I was relieved of a large debt after working with a practitioner.
• Reverend Jim called me on the phone once, just to see how I was doing.
• Using Science of Mind principles has enabled me to build success as an artist and have my first one person show (at a Religious Science Church, no less.)
• I learned to see the light of God in the eyes of every misbehaving child in my classroom. (I’m an elementary art teacher—yikes!)
• We have created an aesthetic paradise with fabulous music, a meditation garden, sculpture, painting, and decor.
• Our diverse membership embodies the fact that everyone belongs.
• We are the powerful movers and shakers in our community.
• We hold the consciousness that heals the world (and that’s huge).
