NOVEMBER – A Time of Celebration

During the month of November, there are so many ways we celebrate Spirit here at the Center for Spiritual Living Denver.

Rev. Leo Booth
We celebrate our special guests, such as Leo Booth. Rev. Leo will join us again on November 2nd for the Sunday morning message, inspired by the daily affirmations contained within the pages of his new book “Say Yes to Your Spirit: A Personal Journey for Developing Spirituality, Recovery, and Healing.” We’ll also have an opportunity to join Rev. Leo for a rare personal and intimate workshop experience on Sunday afternoon.

Anton Mizerak and Kim Lorene
We also celebrate the unique musical talents of Anton Mizerak and Kim Lorene as they share the stage with Rev. Leo on Sunday morning. A keyboard, harmonica and tabla player, Anton lives in Mount Shasta, and writes his music in nature, believing that our organic experience of sun, wind, water, snow and earth, transmitted through music, can be a valuable nurturing and healing experience. Kim, a singer, songwriter and guitarist from Canada, has been traveling and sharing her music throughout North America, Europe and the United Kingdom for the last seven years. Kim and Anton will return to our Sanctuary on Wednesday, November 5th, for a single night concert to benefit the Center for Spiritual Living Denver.

“First Turkey” Feast
On Sunday, November 23rd, we share and celebrate each other’s uniqueness with our traditional “First Turkey” feast. This is an opportunity to experience greater family through friendship and food.

Decorating the Hospice of St. John for Christmas
Saturday, November 29th
10:00 a.m
1320 Everett Court
Lakewood, Colorado

On November 29th, the Saturday after Thanksgiving, we gather in Lakewood at 10:00 a.m. to decorate the Hospice of St. John for those who may be experiencing their last Christmas in this lifetime, along with their families and the staff who care for them. This tradition began in 1992 when Rev. Jim and his partner, Steve, wanted to experience a greater expression of the true message of the holidays. This gift is carried on this year, with decorating activities lead by Steve Smith, R.Sc.P.

Please plan on joining us for each of these special events as we express the Spirit of the holidays. Your life will never be the same.

Sign-up sheets are in the Fellowship Room or call the Office at 303-832-5206 for more information.
